SABA ALMUBASLAT (CEO) MOVING ON TO NEW CHALLENGES

Saba Almubaslat, CEO of the Asfari Foundation from May 2019 to March 2022, has moved on to start a new role with the Ford Foundation as a Regional Director for MENA. This is a fantastic opportunity for Saba, and we wish her every success in her new position.

Everyone at the Foundation would like to share their profound appreciation for all that Saba has achieved while leading the Foundation during a period of great challenges, both globally and in our MENA region. We are also delighted that Saba will continue to offer her expertise, ideas, and leadership to the Foundation as a member of the Asfari Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

A formal recruitment process to hire a new CEO is already underway. Until the recruitment process is complete, Anas Darkaoui (Asfari Foundation’s Civil Society Programme Manager) will be taking on the position of Interim CEO.
